Description
Performance and merit increases are available as follows and are all performance/merit based.
Military certification in electronics is acceptable.
- Product Support/Repair-Depot is responsible for troubleshooting technical problems, diagnosing, analyzing and/or repairing products.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of systems and products. Identifies basic system and product issues.
- Identifies need for escalation. Is entry level with limited experience. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method. Maintains appropriate licenses / training / certifications, as needed.
- Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
- Has basic skills training in an analytical / scientific method or operational process area (e.g., material handling and management, logistics, manufacturing production).
- Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
Qualification & Skills
- Requires a High School diploma with an ASEE or AA desired, and 0-2 years of experience providing support in a biomedical discipline.
- Basic understanding of MAC and PC operating systems. Basic knowledge of networking.
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
- Flow cytometry experience desired.
- Working knowledge of data tracking systems such as SAP.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Effective listening skills. Ability to work as part of a team with moderate level of supervision.
