About the role
Columbia Helicopters is a 65-year-old provider of heavy-lift helicopter services. We manufacture new aircraft, fly helicopters worldwide, and provide maintenance to keep you ready for critical missions.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on manufactured, repair station, and operator articles, including receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections.
- Complete, review, and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Identify, document, and communicate non-conformances and deviations.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with company procedures and FAA regulations.
- Perform FAA safety-sensitive inspection functions as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Uphold and model the company’s core values in daily work.
- Support additional quality-related activities as needed.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or training preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with AS9100/AS9110 Quality Management Systems or ASQ Certified Quality Inspector certification with relevant experience.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information across teams and levels.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules.
Qualifications
