Description TITLE: Product Program Manager REPORTS TO: Director of Membership and Product Programs Classification/FLSA Status: Full Time LOCATION: Girl Scouts of Central Maryland’s Headquarters – 4806 Seton Dr. Baltimore, MD 21215 POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the council product program strategies and campaigns. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develops and implements strategic, cross-functional plans for council product programs. Serves as liaison to product vendors during strategy development and implementation. Develops and administers annual operating budget for product program, including income projections. Cultivates relationships with volunteers, members and families to participate and understand the product programs. Providing customer service and member support through, emails, cases, phone calls and trainings. Oversees collection of all product sale funds, ensuring that all delinquent accounts are settled. Monitor membership trends, community needs, and participation data to inform planning efforts Responsible for developing overall marketing plan for the council product programs. Work with other departments to disseminate information to the community about Girl Scout product programs. Develops and administers policies and procedures related to the council product program ensuring success. Maintain and balance inventory of all cookies through the warehouse and cookie cupboards while running the council’s own cookie cupboard. Supports council functions through promotion of council sponsored activities. Promotes the Girl Scout culture of philanthropy by cultivating and building relationships with donors. Active participation in the development of environments that foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and access through words, actions, and attitude. Performs other duties as necessary or assigned. Education And Experience Bachelor’s or higher or equivalent experience with four years of directly related work experience, and at least two years of managerial experience preferred. Four years’ experience in sales or marketing, previous Girl Scout product program experience strongly desired. Ability to take initiative, to organize and implement a multi-faceted workload with minimum supervision and function well as a member of a team. Understanding of budget development and general financial/administrative practices; computer literate with familiarity with Microsoft Office Word, spreadsheets, and database management preferred. Ability to prioritize work, train, and delegate to others. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Travel throughout council jurisdiction up to 20% of the time. Capability to provide own transportation and maintain valid operator license. Physical Requirements The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must be able to withstand: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Operate office equipment manually. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds at times.Registration as a member of Girl Scouts of Central Maryland. Salary Range: $47000 - $52000
