What We’re Looking For

At Western States, we empower every employee to work in a safe environment every day. This includes adhering to safety policies, procedures, and standards. Employees must complete Job Hazard Analysis (JHA's) before job-related tasks, maintain clean work areas, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Diagnosis, Troubleshooting, and Repair: Develops basic troubleshooting skills, assists with testing, repairs, and diagnoses machine failures, and performs preventative maintenance tasks.

• Engages in continued education and training initiatives
• Utilizes service manuals and parts books to address technical issues
• Writes and reads service reports for files and warranty purposes
• Develops skills to address all inquiries promptly and professionally

Telematics Installations and Repairs: Installs, repairs, and activates telematics systems to enhance tracking and performance metrics.

Continued Development: Participates in career development plans and develops familiarity with parts reusability guidelines.

Physical Characteristics: Must be able to stand for long periods, walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, push, pull, lean, twist, generate 97 ft./lbs. of force, lift up to 60 lbs., carry up to 20 lbs., and repeatedly ascend/descend stairs and ladders.
