Product Owner with Structured Debt Exp. @ New York, NY (4 Days onsite/week)

Responsibilities
- Serve as a cross pod/platform specialist, flexing across initiatives based on complexity, regulatory risk, or end to end workflow impact.
- Ensure consistent business rules, process definitions, data meaning, and control interpretations across pods and delivery teams.
- Act as an escalation point when pod level analysis is insufficient due to regulatory, operational, or architectural complexity.
- Create and maintain reusable domain assets (process libraries, decision catalogs, data definitions, control/evidence patterns) to reduce onboarding time and knowledge silos.
- Partner with Product Operations (where present) or perform product ops like activities to support operating model design, launch readiness, and BAU sustainability.
- Lead complex discovery, option analysis, and future state design for initiatives that span multiple pods, systems, or platforms (e.g., regulatory change, platform migrations, cross product workflows).
- Perform cross pod/platform impact analysis; identify dependencies, sequencing, and risks; drive alignment on business rules and end to end process designs.
- Define or refine operating models, roles & responsibilities (RACI), controls, and support processes required for adoption, launch, and BAU sustainability.
- Interpret regulatory and policy requirements; translate into implementable controls, acceptance criteria, and evidence expectations for delivery teams.
- Establish and govern standards for business analysis practices and artifacts (definitions of ready/done, modeling conventions, traceability).
- Mentor and coach junior BAs on analysis methods, domain knowledge, and documentation quality; review high risk epics for requirement integrity.
Requirements
- Deep subject matter expertise across systems, processes, and regulatory domains.
- Strong end-to-end understanding of complex workflows spanning multiple pods or platforms.
- Advanced business and systems analysis (value streams, target operating models, control design, non functional requirements, data mapping).
- Fluency in agile at scale and multi team coordination.
- Strong understanding of audit, risk, and compliance expectations in regulated environments; able to translate policy into implementable requirements.
- Recognized domain or regulatory specialist who can be flexed across pods as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience level may align to VP/SVP individual contributor profiles; formal people management is not required.
- Individual skills include executive level facilitation and stakeholder alignment; analytical storytelling that produces decision driving artifacts, including narratives, visuals, and models, that stand up to audit and senior review.
- Mentors and coaches junior BAs by elevating best practices across pods without formal line management.
- Demonstrates systems thinking by anticipating upstream and downstream impacts, scalability, and operational resiliency.

$86,775 - $140,814 annually
