About the role

Target’s mission is to help all families discover the joy of everyday life. As a Small Format Team Member (On‑Demand), you will work in the smallest format stores, ensuring products are in stock, accurately priced, and presented on the sales floor while delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests (10 ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave; 4 ft: greet, smile, initiate a warm, helpful interaction)
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End each transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive, respectful attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy, inspiring guest experience
• Work in all departments to keep the sales floor full, zoned, and in stock
• Assist with truck unload and stock product to the sales floor
• Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans for all departments
• Conduct weekly price‑change workload and ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately
• Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy
