Product Owner - Online Banking

About the role
DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented individual to join our Product Development team as a Product Owner for Online Banking. You will help drive innovative solutions that create value for our members and employees by shaping and enhancing a key digital channel.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Product Owner for DCCU’s online banking experience.
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned products that support our employees and members.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear user cases, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
- Prioritize and manage product backlogs to maximize business value and deliver impactful solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle—from concept and design through testing, launch, and ongoing enhancement.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions and facilitate collaboration among business leaders, technical teams, and end users.
- Validate completed work through functional, non-functional, and regression testing to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Create process documentation, wireframes, and technical diagrams that support successful product development.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating existing systems and recommending solutions that enhance the member and employee experience.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, along with experience in business analysis, product ownership, or a related technical role.
- A passion for creating innovative products and delivering exceptional experiences for members and employees.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and conceptually.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Experience managing priorities, collaborating across teams, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience writing user stories, managing product backlogs, and supporting Agile product development practices.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and delivering high-quality solutions.

Pay
Competitive starting salary range of $73,875.00 to $86,911.76. Starting salary placement in the range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills.
