Product Owner - NC
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite Only)
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Contract Length: 3 months (extension possible)
Pay Rate: $60 - $65/hr (OT after 40 hours)
About the Role
In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning within Business Execution. This role will serve as a Product Owner supporting the design, implementation, onboarding, and adoption of a new enterprise document management platform for Commercial Banking. The successful candidate will join an existing Product Owner team responsible for document management platforms and will take ownership of activities supporting the Commercial Banking line of business. This role requires close collaboration with Commercial Banking leaders, business stakeholders, technology teams, and product partners to ensure successful implementation and adoption of the platform. The position reports through the Corporate & Investment Banking COO organization while supporting Commercial Banking stakeholders across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Product Owner for Commercial Banking document management initiatives
- Lead onboarding efforts for a new document management platform
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Define and prioritize product features, enhancements, and backlog items
- Partner with business leaders to identify user needs and operational requirements
- Collaborate with technology teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and requirements workshops
- Coordinate platform implementation activities and deployment readiness
- Support Agile ceremonies including:
- Sprint Planning
- Backlog Grooming
- Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Track implementation milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Support change management and user adoption efforts
- Develop reporting, presentations, and business communications for stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and platform capabilities
Requirements
- Product Owner experience supporting technology implementations
- Experience with document management, content management, or enterprise platform implementations
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project coordination skills
