About the role
Enlighten is looking for an experienced Product Owner to directly support operations and assist in growth strategy with special emphasis on U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) and the Defensive Cyber Operations command at Fort Gordon, GA. This role will provide project management and DevSecOps support, assist in training and adoption of analytics and applications developed for cyber operations on the government-owned Big Data Platform (BDP), and require on-site work with the customer 2-3 days/week. CONUS or OCONUS travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Establish, foster, and strengthen relationships between Enlighten and targeted government customers.
- Function as the lead for analytic and application development in support of operations, integrating production capabilities into the customer’s daily operations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Army operational BDP capabilities, operationalizing them into the customer’s daily workflows.
- Provide technical support to Army users of the BDP, troubleshooting issues and answering questions related to the platform.
- Gather data and software requirements from Army customer leads, conveying them to developers by establishing development roadmaps.
- Understand and champion Enlighten’s technology and capabilities, providing leadership updates on project status, customer engagements, and government adoption.
- Act as the SME for the Army customer landscape, building relationships with key decision-makers to influence government data and software development decisions.
- Collaborate with Enlighten’s Customer Experience Group (CEG) to develop and implement development plans, operational roadmaps, and action plans for communities of interest.
- Expand future opportunities by identifying new market opportunities and target markets within existing Army programs.
- Document and maintain opportunities in the company’s CEG pipeline tools.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships, staying updated on customer plans, programs, and market intelligence.
- Build an external network of solution partners and providers.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and engineering departments to ensure alignment.
- Own the customer experience from start to finish, working closely with development and engineering teams to ensure DevSecOps pipeline delivery aligns with customer targets.
- Act as the focal point for pushing capabilities to the customer, ensuring awareness of DevSecOps pipeline touchpoints for new updates, features, or capabilities.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of business development, including proposal support, staffing, opportunity identification, bid/no-bid analysis, and RFI/market responses.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- 9+ years in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a B.A. in Business, a technical field, or related discipline; 7 years relevant experience with a Master’s in a related field; or a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 13 years relevant experience.
- Prior government or military experience with organizations such as MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, U.S. Air Force (AFCYBER), or 10TH Fleet/Navy Cyber.
- Experience directly managing complex technical projects and/or programs.
- Understanding of budget practices and acquisitions within the specified organizations or relationships with those who do.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, public speaking ability, and interviewing skills, including active listening and empathy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (CONUS or OCONUS), sometimes on short notice.
- Ability to work on-site 2-3 days a week at Fort Gordon, GA or the Georgia Cyber Center (GCC), with flexibility to adapt to schedule changes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies, Data Engineering, and Cyber Security.
- Technical background sufficient to determine system requirements and collaborate with engineering and management on design and estimating.
- Previous experience with the Big Data Platform (BDP) is a plus.

Pay
Anticipated salary range: $108,090.00 - $175,000.00. The range is based on role location, expectations, and responsibilities, with final offers considering factors such as function, internal equity, education, work experience, certifications, and key skills. Occasionally, roles may include additional non-recurrent compensation.
Schedule
- Hybrid work model with on-site presence at Fort Gordon, GA or the Georgia Cyber Center (GCC) 2-3 days per week.
- Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
- Up to 25% travel (CONUS or OCONUS), sometimes on short notice.
