About the role

The Product Owner acts as the primary facilitator among the development teams, the other Product Team leaders, Development Teams, and the user community (clients and operations) in support of their products. You will primarily focus on executing the product roadmap for the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) suite, including Workflow (Jira), Document Management, and WorkDesk.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog in Jira, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and drive alignment across Product, Development, QA, Operations, Client Services, and other stakeholders.
  • Configure, optimize, and support Jira workflows and related project structures, including issue types, screens, permissions, workflow design, automation rules, dashboards, and client or team-specific use cases.
  • Design, document, and improve end-to-end business and system workflows, translating operational processes into scalable workflow automation and content management solutions.
  • Serve as the product SME for ECM capabilities.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate product discovery, requirements analysis, workflow analysis, testing strategy, documentation, and stakeholder communications while applying sound judgment and governance.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or applicable experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Product, Business Analysis, Development, or a related discipline, including demonstrated Product Owner experience.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery and the SDLC, including backlog management, requirements writing, sprint planning, release planning, testing, and production readiness.
  • Hands-on Jira expertise, including backlog management, workflow configuration, workflow administration, automation, reporting, and use of Jira as an SDLC and workflow management tool.
  • Experience analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes through workflow automation and system-driven solutions.
  • Ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and translate complex business needs into clear, scalable functional requirements.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
  • Financial Services experience, preferably FinTech experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, or investment operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Jira administration experience, including workflows, permissions, automation rules, issue schemes, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, or other automation, analytics, and workflow tooling.
  • Project management experience with the organization, ownership, and drive to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, work effectively in complex integrated environments, and adapt as client needs change.
  • A positive, collegial approach that reflects SEI Values of courage, integrity, collaboration, inclusion, connection, and fun.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, vision, prescription, wellness, EAP, FSA).
  • Life and disability insurance (premiums paid for base coverage).
  • 401(k) match and education assistance.
