Product Owner/Business Analyst

About the role

Contract-to-hire Product Owner/Business Analyst position supporting Agile Release Train (ART) delivery within a SAFe environment. Locations: Omaha, Nebraska or Greenwood Village, Colorado (Marietta, Georgia or Berkley Heights, New Jersey may be considered).

Responsibilities

• Manage the team backlog.
• Define user stories.
• Ensure the development team delivers value aligned with the product vision and roadmap defined by the Product Manager.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment.
• Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with technical architects, business resources, and clients to drive decisions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to travel to the client environment quarterly.
• Must be able to work W2 on Prominent’s payroll during the contract period (no visa sponsorship, C2C, or 1099 arrangements).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with or within government systems or regulated environments.
• Background in enterprise SaaS or platform products.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Pay

Anticipated hourly rate while on contract is in the $49‑55/hr range.
