This senior-level position is responsible for developing product plans, strategies, and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The role focuses on promoting products to develop new markets, increase market share, and achieve a competitive position.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancements, launches, and marketing to maximize product benefits.
- Review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers.
- Participate in day-to-day product management, including product delivery, client experience, and communication strategies.
- Help prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results.
- Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to establish preferred partner status with Citi clients.
- Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members.
- Oversee client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmaps, and assist in addressing product commoditization challenges.
- Contribute to acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue goals, and expense management.
- Oversee the identification and execution of business opportunities and gaps in business plans.
- Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management.
- Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations while safeguarding Citigroup’s reputation and assets.
- Lead third-party due diligence requirements for new partnerships, including retail partners or suppliers, to ensure successful onboarding.
- Assume merchant management for smaller programs in wind-down mode, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring smooth exits.
- Develop and execute playbooks for partner/merchant wind-downs and exits, ensuring legal compliance and effective communication.
- Participate in establishing standards for pricing, features, commercial teams, and data sharing to optimize partner agreements.
- Develop internal reporting to ensure oversight and awareness of activities and deliverables.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to support strategic objectives and investor day commitments.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience.
- Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics.
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or University degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Pay
Full-time salary range: $163,600.00 - $245,400.00.
