Line Of Business TD Wealth Job Description The Product Analyst I, US Wealth is expected to support product management in completing both strategic and tactical initiatives related to the ongoing development and support of the TD Wealth Products & Platforms. This includes but is not limited to Advisory, Brokerage, Financial Planning, and Insurance & Annuity businesses. Primary areas of focus include data gathering and translation to support new product evaluation; carrying out process improvement and initiatives from requirement definition to implementation; working with various business groups to identify opportunities for process improvement; assisting with sponsor and strategy launches; maintaining and improving relationships. Depth & Scope Works with large amounts of data, facts, figures, number crunching and analyze it and make recommendations in improving the businessEvaluates product metrics, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findingsPresents findings or translate the data into an understandable documents and business casesResponsible for monthly reporting by business lineBreaks down cost and profitability analysisSupports internal procedures and processes required to maintaining daily account activityPerforms workflow & business analysis resulting in operational procedures to meet business needsAssists in analyzing new business opportunities to assess effects on workflowMay assist in business plans leveraging Acquisition and Segments teams to increase new account growth and track P&L impact Education & Experience Associates degree or equivalent experience1+ years related experience requiredExperience with relational database structures, Knowledge of coding languages (Visual Basic or SQL), Knowledge of reporting tools (Business Objects, SAS), MS OfficeBasic financial modeling skillsBasic knowledge of banking product attributes as well as operational understanding of business areas supportedAbove average communication skillsUnderstanding of database structure with a minimum of basic programming skillsAbility to work independently on task-oriented assignments by the due dates assignedPC skills including Microsoft Office Suite (strong Access & Excel skills a must) with an understanding of database design and troubleshootingLicensing (Role Dependent): Series 7, 63 and 65 (or 66), Life & Health or willingness to get licensed Who We Are TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
