About the role
The US Retail Product Marketing Manager partners internally and with Best Buy and Amazon, along with other retailers on strategic marketing opportunities by supporting retail training and events, along with marketing campaigns and product launches, with the objective of driving the ASUS SBG & OPBG brands and products in the US.
Responsibilities
- Product content management on BestBuy.com and Amazon.com for Gaming laptops, Handheld, Premium Windows laptops, Chromebooks, Desktops/AIOs, Burst laptops, Monitors & Networking. Includes: product page marketing content, A+ content (syndicated content), sample quantities confirmation for internal and external marketing initiatives, product launch dates confirmation, WTB (where to buy) links confirmation for all GTM initiatives.
- Strategic marketing support for the categories mentioned above, this includes digital campaign collaboration with Sr. Retail Marketing Managers, along with support on in-store placements, such as endcaps, countertops, walls; including but not limited to signage guidance support, agency support. Co-marketing conversations support with ecosystem partners such as Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm, AMD, Google, MSFT. Samples support process for partner marketing initiatives and internal marketing initiatives.
- Leads virtual and face-to-face training events with internal and external teams and agencies. Working with the Best Buy training team and partners to train their evergreen 3PL sales teams for each selling cycle (Spring and Holiday) to obtain additional ASUS in-store focus.
- Leads product pages review process from start to finish with Best Buy for all ASUS categories. Works with Best Buy and the ASUS Operations team to process all requests and complete Tech Insider Reviews after product launches on BestBuy.com.
- Leads product marketing digital and in-store analysis for ASUS, providing quick summaries after new product launches (media links, reviews, PDP reviews). Executing bi-weekly in-store analysis, this includes Best Buy store visits to provide a recap for each of these categories, analyzing ASUS competitors’ placements and ASUS brand recognition.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related
- Work Experience: 7+ years of product marketing experience, 7+ years of experience working with consumer electronics or at tech companies (Best Buy and Amazon retail experience preferred), 5+ years of retail marketing experience
- Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint, Understanding of consumer electronic products, product marketing management, retail marketing, training, partnerships, joint marketing campaigns, retail events, Ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships with retail customers, ecosystem partners, and cross-functional teams, Strong ability to balance different tasks with tight deadlines, Strong problem-solving skills, organized, proactive, being a self-starter, meticulous multi-tasker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Shopper marketing experience, ability to understand the shopper’s mindset for a cohesive brand message across different customer touchpoints, and across retailers to create demand for ASUS products.
- Deep understanding of different customer segments inside of the consumer electronics industry.
Pay
The final salary amount will be determined based on the qualifications & experience of the candidate related to the role.
