About the role

The Forward Engineering Team at Candid is seeking an experienced engineer to join our mission. This role will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and integrations
• Collaborate with product managers to gather requirements and prioritize development efforts
• Develop and maintain high-quality software products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions to improve code quality and efficiency
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure the team remains competitive

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with modern web technologies (JavaScript, React, Node.js)
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Passionate about making healthcare more accessible and affordable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Node.js
• Experience with databases and data modeling
