About the Role
At Possible, the Product Marketing Lead plays a pivotal role in researching, scoping, and launching new products, while also driving continuous product adoption and iteration post-launch. This high-execution, high-impact individual contributor (IC) role reports to the Director of Product Marketing and collaborates closely with the CMO, CPO, and CEO on product strategy and positioning. As Possible transitions into a multi-product platform, this role will have a significant impact on product tiering, pricing, packaging, and overall company positioning.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale a competitive intelligence program to monitor consumer trends, competitors, pricing, fees, features, App Store presence, and go-to-market activities.
- Partner with company leadership and cross-functional teams to define product tiering, pricing, packaging, and market positioning for existing and new offerings.
- Influence company-wide product strategy, positioning, and roadmap prioritization by providing market, customer, and competitive insights.
- Define and drive positioning, messaging, and promotional strategy for the Possible platform, individual products, membership tiers, and features based on customer insights and data.
- Own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new products and features, from customer insights and positioning to launch planning and execution.
- Collaborate with User Research to drive research objectives and inform product decisions.
- Use customer insights and quantitative performance data to improve product adoption, retention, and ongoing messaging.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 6 years dedicated to Product Marketing.
- Proven track record in customer research, competitive intelligence, and end-to-end GTM strategy.
- B2C App and/or subscription-business experience (fintech preferred; gaming, health and wellness, or ecommerce also considered).
- Strong messaging and positioning skills, with experience developing narratives, testing them with customers, and translating results into in-market assets.
- Deep experience with product adoption analysis and turning insights into strategy and engagement opportunities.
- Proficiency with data, analytics, and customer research tools (e.g., Sigma, Amplitude, Databricks, Fullstory).
- Ability to gather and synthesize audience insights from qualitative and quantitative research.
- Track record of partnering with PMs and engineering managers to translate technical terms into clear customer-facing benefits.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across Product, Marketing, and Operations.
Qualifications
- B2C consumer fintech app experience, particularly in lending/credit or EWA (earned wage access), is a plus.
- Past experience as a strategy consultant, Product Manager, or Brand Manager, or comparable experience with high work quality standards.
- Comfort with data and ability to read/adapt SQL queries is advantageous.
- Payments experience is a plus.
- Experience managing, coaching, or mentoring junior team members is beneficial.
- No specific degree required; demonstrated capability and outcomes are prioritized.
