Product Marketing Director (Hybrid)
About the role
Lead the go-to-market strategy for Splunk Enterprise Security, the industry-leading SIEM, driving adoption, pipeline acceleration, thought leadership, and revenue growth. Help shape the narrative that positions Splunk at the forefront of the agentic SOC while translating product capabilities into clear, compelling customer outcomes and use cases.
Responsibilities
- Partner across product, marketing, and sales teams to build impactful positioning, messaging, campaigns, launches, and sales enablement.
- Translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer outcomes and differentiated market messaging.
- Work with market insights, customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and industry experience to influence roadmap priorities and differentiate Splunk’s offerings in the security operations space.
- Build and execute go-to-market strategies for Splunk Enterprise Security, ensuring alignment with broader product and marketing goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree + 15 years of related experience or Master’s degree + 12 years of related experience.
- 10+ years of product marketing experience, including cybersecurity.
- 7+ years of building expertise in security markets, including SIEM, SOC, XDR, threat detection, and incident response.
- Experience leading go-to-market strategy and launch execution for enterprise security products or platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop product positioning, packaging, field enablement, and campaign materials for enterprise buyers.
- Experience working across multi-product or cross-portfolio organizations.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of agentic security operations and SOC transformation trends.
- Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear customer outcomes and differentiated market messaging.
- Executive presence and experience advising senior leaders on market trends, competitive strategy, and go-to-market priorities.
- Strong storytelling skills for analysts, sellers, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience partnering with product management, sales, campaign, and portfolio marketing teams in large, complex environments.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $230,100.00 to $325,300.00, reflecting the projected salary range for new hires in U.S. and/or Canadian locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.
Schedule
This position is a hybrid role, requiring the employee to work both onsite and remotely. Specific onsite days and remote days will be coordinated with the team and manager.
