Product Manager (Truss Software)
Core Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term product vision and multi-year roadmap across product lines (e.g., IntelliVIEW, eShop, Equipment Software)
- Lead the 3P-STP-5P marketing strategy (Customer, Competitor, Company; Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning; Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People) for each product category
- Own product-level P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, and market penetration
- Monitor product performance metrics and adjust strategy to maximize value and ROI
- Lead deep market analysis including CM/LBM trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies (e.g., automation, CAD/CAM, cloud solutions)
- Develop and support go-to-market strategies for new products and major releases
- Enable sales teams through training on product positioning, competitive differentiation, and objection handling
- Participate in key customer meetings, sales cycles, and industry events to support growth and gather insights
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic accounts and industry influencers
- Propose and prioritize product investments based on ROI, customer impact, and strategic alignment
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and performance to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure alignment across Product Owners, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Support, and Operations
- Translate business strategy into clear direction for Product Owners and delivery teams

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a comparable discipline; an MBA is a plus
- 6+ years’ experience working as a Product Owner with a development team
- Experience in product management with ownership of product strategy and product roadmaps
- Familiarity with Customer-Back Innovation (CBI) or similar stage-gate frameworks
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is preferred
- Software Product strategy and management experience with demonstrated value delivery
- Experience with complex customer environments and/or relevant industry experience
- Experience leading software product development in an Agile environment leveraging frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe
- Strong team/project management, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
- Up to 25% travel
Compensation Information
$90,000 - $140,000 (high level of experience)
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
