Key job responsibilities
- Own product vision and multi-year roadmap for manufacturing systems portfolio.
- Drive architectural decisions and technical trade-offs across ERP, MES, PLM, and CAD systems.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to define system capabilities and integration requirements.
- Translate complex business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements.
- Create detailed PRFAQs and functional design documents for new capabilities.
- Define and track key success metrics that demonstrate business impact and value.
- Partner with engineering teams to define technical implementation approaches.
- Define user acceptance criteria and success metrics for new features.
- Develop business cases for new capabilities and enhancements.
Business Process & System Architecture
- Drive standardization and simplification initiatives for manufacturing through value stream mapping of transactional processes to guide product development.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
- Partner with enterprise architecture teams on integration patterns and data flows.
- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential application.
Customer Engagement & Adoption
- Serve as voice of customer for manufacturing operations.
- Develop product adoption strategies and success metrics.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive adoption and feedback loops.
- Drive change management for new capabilities.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience.
- Experience defining roadmap strategy and prioritizing deliverables for your team products.
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis, or experience communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units.
- Experience writing business requirements documents, functional specifications, and use cases.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or another technical field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain system concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of data engineering pipelines, cloud solutions, ETL management, databases, visualizations and analytical platforms.
- Experience working with Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience in SQL Server/MySQL, or experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
