About the role

We are seeking a product manager to join our team at Dedalus Labs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for understanding complex technical systems and turning them into products developers love.

Responsibilities

  • Interviewing developers to understand how they build and deploy AI agents.
  • Designing onboarding experiences that help developers become productive faster.
  • Working with engineers to define APIs, workflows, and product behavior.
  • Prioritizing product improvements based on customer feedback and usage data.
  • Writing product specifications for new infrastructure capabilities.
  • Defining metrics that measure product adoption, activation, and retention.
  • Liaising between product and engineering teams to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Launching new platform features from idea to production.

Requirements

  • Strong product intuition and user empathy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to quickly understand complex technical systems.
  • Strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • An organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach.
  • Able to work with engineers and translate ambiguous ideas into concrete plans.
  • A high level of agency and excellent judgment.

Qualifications

  • Previous startup, product, or founder experience.
  • Experience building or shipping products end-to-end.
  • Familiarity with developer tools, AI products, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience conducting user interviews or customer research.
  • Experience with Figma, Linear, Notion, or modern product tooling.
  • A technical background in computer science or engineering.
  • Hackathon, side project, or entrepreneurial experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using product metrics.

Skills

  • Understanding of AI agent infrastructure and developer tools.
  • Experience with product development and launch processes.
  • Ability to balance user needs, engineering constraints, and business priorities.
  • Strong opinions about developer tools, AI products, or where software is headed.
  • Desire for simplicity over complexity.
  • Care about product quality and the details users notice.
