About the role

Transform9 builds AI agents that answer every call for physician practices, handling routine requests, scheduling appointments, and routing callers in seconds. Our agents integrate with EHRs, practice management systems, and phones, adapting to practice workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own how our agents handle specialty-specific workflows, including scheduling rules, referrals, triage routing, and prior-auth questions for orthopedics, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, neurology, urology, dermatology, cardiology, and more.
  • Write detailed, unambiguous product requirements and user stories for specialty-specific agent workflows.
  • Embed with client practices to map front-office, back-office, and clinical-adjacent workflows firsthand.
  • Stand up and run our first Customer Advisory Board, using client feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Prioritize the specialty workflow roadmap with the rest of the Product and Engineering teams.
  • Define and track success metrics such as containment rate, transfer rate, scheduling accuracy, and patient satisfaction.
  • Synthesize client feedback and clinical best practices into product decisions.

Requirements

  • You come straight from a practice environment and know specialty workflows and systems cold (operations, administration, or management).
  • You have 3+ years of experience in product management or physician-practice operations leadership.
  • You are exceptionally clear in writing, leaving no room for interpretation in your requirements.
  • You possess analytical rigor and excellent stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Nice to have: experience with EHR/PM systems across multiple specialties, conversational AI, voice products, or AI-native systems, and experience running customer advisory boards or similar client programs.

Schedule

Remote (US), with occasional travel to client practices. Hybrid option available for those in the Birmingham, AL area (3 days in office / 2 remote).
