Product Manager Shipping and Logistics
Fortidia – Lakewood, CO – Hybrid schedule: remote Monday & Friday, in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
About the role
We are searching for a Product Manager, Shipping & Logistics, focused on managing the shipping and logistics product category across our AlphaGraphics and PostNet brands. The role drives pricing strategy, product development, and franchise adoption. Shipping is one of the largest revenue categories across the PostNet and AlphaGraphics networks. Carriers publish annual general rate increases, adjust surcharges, and periodically change dimensional-weight calculations. You will track these changes and translate them into pricing guidance and margin targets to maximize franchise profitability.
The role owns the shipping and logistics category, including the product roadmap, pricing structure, carrier/vendor relationships, and everything required to get independently owned centers offering and selling these services. Adoption comes from building services that improve franchise economics and providing ready-to-use pricing and materials. Most of the job is enabling franchise owners to adopt new offerings quickly. The role also leads the development roadmap for our proprietary system, Hub4PostNet, to better align it with Sales & Operations needs.
Responsibilities
- Set the pricing structure and margin targets for shipping services and update pricing guidance as carrier rates and surcharges change.
- Own the product roadmap, including evaluating new services, retiring existing offerings, and prioritizing future initiatives.
- Track competitive pricing across retail shipping, e-commerce fulfillment, and returns, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Report on category revenue, margin, and adoption with recommendations to improve business performance.
- Manage carrier and third-party vendor relationships, negotiate agreements, and ensure partner commitments are met.
- Monitor industry changes including carrier rate increases, surcharge updates, and pricing structures to maintain competitive offerings.
- Lead the development roadmap for Hub4PostNet, partnering with Sales & Operations to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements for the Technology team.
- Build launch packages for new products and services, including pricing tools, training materials, in-center collateral, and customer-facing resources.
- Develop go-to-market plans for new launches, including positioning, messaging, target customers, channels, and launch timing.
- Write product positioning and messaging and partner with the Marketing team to ensure consistency across campaigns, digital content, social media, email, and web.
- Partner with Marketing to strengthen the shipping category across customer-facing channels throughout the year.
- Work closely with Operations and Learning & Development to increase service adoption and attach rates across the franchise network.
- Gather direct feedback from franchise owners to understand adoption challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the Global Product team in Milan to align product strategy and initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Technology, and Learning & Development to successfully execute product initiatives.
