$80k–$100k/yrFull-time

Fortidia is seeking a Product Manager for Shipping & Logistics to oversee the shipping and logistics product category across our AlphaGraphics and PostNet brands. This role focuses on pricing strategy, product development, and driving franchise adoption. Shipping is a major revenue driver for our networks, and this position ensures centers maximize profitability by translating carrier rate changes into actionable pricing guidance.

About the role

The Product Manager owns the shipping and logistics category, including the product roadmap, pricing structure, carrier relationships, and franchise adoption. Since our centers are independently owned, adoption relies on creating services that improve their economics and providing ready-to-use pricing and materials. The role also leads the development roadmap for our proprietary system, Hub4PostNet, aligning it with Sales & Operations needs.

Responsibilities

  • Set the pricing structure and margin targets for shipping services, updating guidance as carrier rates and surcharges change.
  • Own the product roadmap, evaluating new services, retiring existing offerings, and prioritizing initiatives.
  • Track competitive pricing across retail shipping, e-commerce fulfillment, and returns to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Report on category revenue, margin, and adoption with recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Manage carrier and third-party vendor relationships, negotiate agreements, and ensure partner commitments are met.
  • Monitor industry changes, including carrier rate increases, surcharge updates, and pricing structures to maintain competitive offerings.
  • Lead the development roadmap for Hub4PostNet, translating business needs into technical requirements for the Technology team.
  • Build launch packages for new products, including pricing tools, training materials, in-center collateral, and customer-facing resources.
  • Develop go-to-market plans for new launches, including positioning, messaging, target customers, channels, and timing.
  • Write product positioning and messaging, partnering with Marketing to ensure consistency across campaigns and channels.
  • Work with Operations and Learning & Development to increase service adoption and attach rates across the franchise network.
  • Gather feedback from franchise owners to understand adoption challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Global Product team in Milan to align product strategy and initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Technology, and Learning & Development to execute product initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in product management, product marketing, or business development within shipping, parcel, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Working knowledge of carrier economics, including rate cards, zones, dimensional weight, and surcharge structures.
  • Experience owning pricing for a product or category, including pricing analysis and margin management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading go-to-market initiatives, including positioning, messaging, and channel planning.
  • Proven track record of launching products and driving adoption.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with franchise owners, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership.
  • Franchise or indirect channel experience preferred.
  • Direct carrier negotiation experience preferred.
  • Experience in e-commerce fulfillment or returns preferred.
  • Collaborative spirit, with appreciation of diverse perspectives.
  • Bold, passionate, tenacious, and curious mindset, not afraid to explore new ideas and challenge the status quo.

Skills

  • Excellent mastery of written and spoken English.

Benefits

  • Competitive health and welfare offerings, including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • Paid Time Off and volunteer time off.
  • 401(k) with company match.
