About the role

We're hiring Senior, Staff and Principal Product Managers with 5+ years of PM experience with a track record of shipping products they're proud of. You'll own discovery, prioritization, and delivery on a high-leverage area of Monarch's product.

Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end responsibility from identifying the opportunity through shipping and iterating in-market.
  • Build products that people love, focusing on clarity, reliability, and usefulness.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities, make clear tradeoffs, and sequence a path forward.
  • Design for what comes next, widening the team's thinking beyond the immediate ask.
  • Push beyond "does it work?" to "does it feel right?", setting a high bar for craft.
  • Make decisions using quantitative data, qualitative research, and customer feedback.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively across engineering, design, GTM, and leadership.
  • Find and leverage new technologies, AI, and workflows that make the whole team sharper, faster, and better connected.

Requirements

  • Own a product area end to end, from identifying the opportunity to shipping, iterating, and being accountable for what happens in market.
  • Translate ambiguous problem spaces into clear priorities, explicit tradeoffs, and a sequenced path forward.
  • Thriving in environments where you can dive into the complexity of personal finance.
  • Not preferring process-heavy environments or needing heavy scaffolding to function.
  • Enjoying technical or systems-level complexity.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fintech, personal finance, or other trust-sensitive consumer domains.
  • Background at an organization known for strong product craft and high-velocity execution.
  • Experience at an early-stage or scaling startup where you were a hands-on builder.

Skills

  • Strong technical fluency, especially in data architecture, third-party provider tradeoffs, and reliability investments.
  • Familiarity with financial data or data platform products.
  • Strong consumer instincts and a high bar for craft.
  • Able to manage a large, interconnected surface area without losing focus.
  • Experience in AI product work, particularly in early-stage, high-velocity environments.

Benefits

  • Work wherever you want!
  • Competitive cash and equity compensation in a hyper growth, early stage company.
  • Stipend to set-up your ideal working environment.
  • Competitive benefit plans for employees based on your location (e.g., medical, dental, vision benefits, and the ability to contribute to a 401k plan).
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • 3-day weekend every month!
