About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of platform primitives within Stripe's Connect Platform. This role involves translating strategic visions into robust, scalable, and user-centric product solutions that serve a diverse ecosystem of platforms, marketplaces, and financial service providers. You will be instrumental in shaping the foundational abstractions that enable innovative business models, particularly in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-driven marketplaces and global networks. Your work will impact how platforms onboard users, manage financial workflows, and evolve their offerings, ultimately accelerating Stripe's ability to support next-generation platform ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, particularly with platform, API, or developer-facing products
• Proven track record of owning end-to-end product lifecycle, from strategy to delivery and measurement
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define and utilize measurement frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of building alignment across teams and stakeholders
• Experience working on complex technical products, including APIs, developer tools, or core platform capabilities
• Background in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure is preferred
• Experience transforming bespoke solutions into scalable platform capabilities is a plus
• Ability to make strategic foundational investments aligned with future user demand

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of key product primitives within the Connect platform, translating strategic goals into actionable roadmaps
• Design and build solutions centered on real user problems such as onboarding, complex business models, and financial capability expansion
• Partner with engineering and design teams to create intuitive APIs and product experiences that balance power and simplicity
• Develop insights into how AI and emerging technologies will influence platform economics and participant models, making strategic investments accordingly
• Collaborate closely with users, sales teams, partnerships, and other internal stakeholders to identify patterns and turn signals into scalable platform features
• Drive high-quality execution from discovery through launch, ensuring platform adoption, developer experience, and business impact
• Maintain a forward-looking perspective to anticipate future platform needs and create durable, flexible solutions that support evolving business models
