Product Manager (Manufacturing) - Hybrid

About the role

MPS in Stockton, CA is seeking a talented Product Manager (Overhead High Voltage Switchgear).

Responsibilities

• Oversight of technical product solutions for clients and customers.
• Regularly interfacing with end users to understand necessary product requirements and price levels.
• Building and implementing go-to-market marketing and pricing strategies.
• Developing and executing Product Line roadmaps to achieve fiscal performance.
• Collaborating with customers, sales, applications, and design engineers to deliver products to customer’s expectations.
• Helping review and recommend changes in product design that align with the organization's goals.
• Ensuring adequate technology is in place and utilized to meet both internal and client's needs.
• Safeguarding that all reported issues are resolved in accordance with organizational standards.
• Completing all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly.
• Adhering to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of overhead powerline concepts and principles.
• Experience in the electrical utility industry is preferred.
• Experience with IEEE C37.30 and GO.95 design and construction standards is a plus.
• A bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and at least 6 years of experience are required.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of other employees with authority for personnel decisions.
• Ability to perform complex tasks typically following established processes.
• Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures that may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.

Qualifications

• Software Experience (desired, but not required): CAD Software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD), ASANA Project Management, ETQ Quality Management, Salesforce CRM, JD Edwards MRP, MBA highly preferred with commercial experience.
• 50% travel domestically.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $120k to $135k, depending on candidate qualifications.
