Product Manager – Inverters & Batteries

About the role

Photomate is one of the leading distributors of renewable energy technologies across Central & Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Central Asia. We combine premium products with deep technical expertise and long-term support for our partners. We are looking for a Product Manager – Inverters & Batteries who will take technical ownership of our Residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) portfolio of PV inverters, hybrid inverters, battery energy storage systems and related software platforms. You will help ensure that our teams across more than 20 countries have access to the latest product knowledge, documentation and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical lifecycle of our Residential and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) inverter and battery portfolio.
• Work closely with our strategic technology partners on product updates, technical topics and lifecycle management.
• Build and maintain high-quality product documentation and technical materials within our Product DataHub.
• Deliver product training and technical enablement for Sales and Technical teams across Photomate.
• Monitor technology trends and contribute to the long-term competitiveness of our product portfolio.
• Support technical product evaluations together with Procurement and other internal teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience in the photovoltaic or renewable energy industry.
• Experience with PV inverters, battery energy storage systems or related technologies.
• Good understanding of Residential and Commercial PV applications.
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly to different audiences.
• Experience in product management, technical support or application engineering is an advantage.
• Proven hands-on experience in residential and commercial PV and ESS projects would be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and professional English language proficiency at a min. of B2 level, with the confidence to communicate professionally on a daily basis.
• Curiosity, ownership and willingness to continuously learn new technologies.
