Product Manager - Gas Conditioning and Distribution
About the role
The Product Manager – Gas Conditioning and Distribution is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of products and solutions related to natural gas conditioning, treating, compression, and distribution. This role combines strong technical expertise with operational and commercial insight to support integration of gas systems across oilfield and power generation applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy, development, and lifecycle management for gas conditioning and distribution solutions.
- Provide technical expertise on natural gas systems, including conditioning, compression, pressure control, and distribution equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to support integration of gas systems into field operations and power generation applications.
- Serve as a technical and commercial liaison between operations, engineering, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.
- Support field operations with subject matter expertise related to gas handling, processing, troubleshooting, and operational safety.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation, process optimization, and market expansion.
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, HSE requirements, and operational best practices.
- Support product performance evaluations, field implementation, and customer engagement activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in natural gas conditioning, compression, treating, or distribution systems.
- Strong knowledge of gas conditioning equipment, compression systems, manifolding, and pressure control.
- Experience supporting oilfield operations, hydraulic fracturing, or power generation environments.
- Understanding of natural gas properties, gas processing, and safe handling practices, including H2S management.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with gas gathering, treating, dehydration, or field gas conditioning systems.
- Familiarity with CNG, LNG, or alternative fuel applications.
- Experience with gas blending or fuel conditioning for power generation equipment.
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations, including API, OSHA, and HSE requirements.
- Additional technical certifications or specialized training related to gas systems or product management.
