Product Managers at Fivecast identify, define, and drive products and features through a complete lifecycle from inception to support. The Product Manager (Financial Crime) focuses on the Anti Financial Crime (AFC) market segment, enhancing existing products and developing new concepts for the financial sector. This role bridges emerging AI technology and market reality, collaborating with AI specialists, engineers, and intelligence analysts to prototype and validate next-generation capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Drive the future-facing product roadmap by identifying and prioritizing AI-enabled capabilities that address unmet customer and market needs in the AFC domain.
- Engage with customers, pre-sales, and internal sales teams to elicit requirements, validate prototypes, and translate feedback into actionable product specifications.
- Conduct and synthesize ongoing market analysis and competitor analysis to inform prototype development and product strategy.
- Lead advanced rapid prototyping initiatives within Fivecast Labs, collaborating directly with AI specialists, AI engineers, and intelligence analysts to build proof-of-concept solutions.
- Present prototypes and capability concepts to the Australia-based Product team, facilitating structured knowledge transfer sessions and cooperative roadmap planning.
- Develop product concepts, feature descriptions, and prototype briefs that bridge AI engineering output and commercial product requirements.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams on go-to-market strategy to ensure prototyped capabilities are positioned for successful adoption.
- Assist VP Product with shaping the long-term Product Roadmap, focusing on AI-driven and data-intelligence features in the AFC domain.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
- University Bachelor’s degree in a STEM, computer science, data science, financial markets, or business field.
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a SaaS or data/analytics environment, with a proven track record of owning product definition, requirements, and delivery.
- Substantial expertise in the Financial Crime/AFC domain, working for banking or other financial institutions, with experience in anti-financial crime, compliance, or risk domains (e.g., AML, KYC, investigations).
- Strong track record of customer-led product development, translating real-world needs into product requirements and features.
- Technical and AI fluency, comfortable collaborating with engineers and data specialists, and familiar with modern AI tools for product discovery and prototyping.
- Experience operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments, delivering advanced prototypes in R&D or early-stage product settings.
