About the role
The Product Manager, Deposits & Liquidity (US) supports the management, enhancement, and development of TD's U.S. commercial deposit and liquidity product portfolio within Global Transaction Banking Product. This role works closely with Sales, Treasury Management, Operations, Servicing, Implementations, Risk, and Technology partners.
Responsibilities
- Supports the management and ongoing enhancement of commercial deposit and liquidity solutions, including operating accounts, sweeps, liquidity pooling structures, virtual account management, escrow solutions, and related cash management capabilities.
- Ensures products meet client needs, risk requirements, and business objectives.
- Works with partners to understand industry and customer trends, analyze challenges, and identify areas of opportunity.
- Liaises with partners to facilitate ideation sessions and build business cases for new product development.
- Manages product development and delivery, ensuring clear and effective customer delivery.
- Collaborates with partners to design end-to-end processes for product development, implementation, use, reporting, and feedback.
- Conducts ongoing industry and competitive analysis to inform product development and maintain competitive edge.
- Manages product policies and processes to align with risk appetite and ensure business objectives are met.
- Supports senior leadership with presentations and strategic reviews, contributing to the development of product strategies and business plans.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree or product management certificate and 7+ years relevant experience. Previous Product experience typically required. Advanced knowledge of and ability to conduct product research, product analysis, and development, forecasting, pricing, and competitive intelligence. Ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of product initiatives. Ability to forecast and contribute to strategic direction of the product management function and provide advice to senior leadership. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions. Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently. Exercise sound judgement in making decisions. Analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines. Skill in preparing and managing budgets and P&L. Knowledge of and/or skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods, and reporting techniques. Skill in using computer applications including MS Office.
