Product Manager, Authorizations (Remote)

About the role

This role will shape product priorities that connect customer needs, business goals, and practical execution. You will partner with engineering, design, analytics, and go-to-market teams to define opportunities, prioritize work, and deliver measurable product outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to influence roadmap direction while improving customer experience and business performance within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy and roadmap aligned with industry goals
• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into user stories for engineering
• Collaborate with various teams ensuring timely and compliant product releases
• Serve as SME on prior authorization and interoperability standards
• Monitor industry trends to inform product decisions and priorities
• Lead pilot programs and define success metrics for product launch
• Partner with data teams to establish and monitor product performance metrics

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Product Management, preferably in healthcare technology
• Deep expertise in prior authorizations workflows is essential
• Strong understanding of CMS 0057-F requirements and X12 278 EDI & FHIR transactions
• Knowledge of EHR systems and utilization management platforms
• Ability to gather market requirements and work cross-functionally
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards
