Product Manager
About the role
The Product Manager will own the product roadmap for Scion’s proprietary decision science platform, Scion Intelligence, and oversee the full product development lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data, design, & engineering—translating real operational needs into high-impact, scalable technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap for Scion Intelligence aligned with Scion’s strategic goals.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data, analytics, and automation to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Translate complex business problems into well-scoped product initiatives
- Own the product backlog, develop wireframes, write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business impact, technical feasibility, and user value
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases on time
- Implement pre-deployment quality control processes to ensure successful deployment of solutions
- Act as the primary liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders
- Gather and synthesize feedback from users across revenue management, sales, marketing, operations, investments, asset management, and leadership
- Present product updates, trade-offs, and outcomes to senior leadership
- Define success metrics and KPIs for Scion Intelligence
- Use data to evaluate product performance, inform prioritization, and guide continuous improvement
- Ensure data integrity, security, and governance standards are upheld
- Advocate for intuitive, user-centered design across all product experiences
- Ensure product solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with technical best practices
Requirements
- 3–7+ years of experience in product management for technology or data-driven products
- Proven experience working with engineering teams in an Agile environment
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with comfort using data to drive decisions
Preferred
- Experience with analytics platforms, BI tools, or data-intensive products
- Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled products or automation workflows
- Experience in Revenue Management System (RMS), PropTech, or operational platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or quantitative field

Pay
The base salary range for this full-time position is base + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For Illinois, the pay range is $115,000—$135,000 USD.

Job location is based at Scion’s Chicago corporate headquarters. Working hours consist of standard daytime business hours.
