This Product Manager role blends downstream and upstream marketing, focusing on new product development and marketing & sales strategies. The position is based in Conroe, TX with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week). Domestic travel up to 25% is required, with occasional international travel.
Responsibilities
- Develop global marketing strategies and tactics for designated product lines to achieve revenue, margin, and market share goals.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership on action plans, new product launches, forecasting, financial planning, and competitive analysis.
- Create detailed strategic roadmaps for product/business development aligned with the company’s strategic plan.
- Assess market trends, segment sizes, growth opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer insights to strengthen value propositions.
- Gather cross-functional insights from R&D, sales, quality, regulatory, finance, and operations to navigate challenges.
- Lead product positioning and brand development, including tactical initiatives for competitive advantage.
- Prioritize new product and lifecycle enhancements to maximize portfolio value.
- Drive product launches through strategic marketing, communications, promotions, and training.
- Build strong relationships with sales teams to align marketing and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing communications and training teams to develop collateral, promotional materials, and sales training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Marketing.
- Preferred experience in medical device product marketing or highly regulated industries.
- International business and marketing experience is a plus.
Skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong strategy implementation, planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
