About the Role

The Staff Product Manager for Data Platform is responsible for shaping the strategy and roadmap of the core data platform that powers proprietary business data and AI products. This strategic role involves balancing technical investments with business needs to build a trusted, market-leading data platform that supports innovative AI-powered products.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute platform strategy to ensure high-quality, comprehensive, and reliable data assets.
• Lead initiatives to improve data quality, coverage, freshness, and scalability while expanding dataset differentiation.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business teams to align platform capabilities with organizational goals.
• Prioritize data ingestion, enrichment, governance, and infrastructure projects, establishing metrics to measure success.
• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies like AI for data acquisition and platform efficiency.
• Make strategic tradeoffs balancing technical complexity, business impact, and long-term platform health.

Requirements

• 5+ years in product management, especially with data, platform, or infrastructure products.
• Deep understanding of data concepts such as ingestion, quality, governance, APIs, and platform services.
• Proven ability to partner with engineering, data science, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills; effective communicator.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, graph data, entity resolution, and large-scale datasets preferred.
