Product Manager

About the role

The Product Manager will lead the development of PrimerOS, the software, AI, and data layer that powers Primer's operations. The role involves transforming the daily realities of running schools into efficient, scalable systems that enhance consistency and human interaction.

Responsibilities

• Build systems to improve campus health monitoring and issue prevention.
• Reduce administrative burdens for educators and support operators.
• Use AI to streamline processes while maintaining human oversight.
• Design tools to make school operations feel lighter and more consistent.
• Work closely with design, engineering, and school operators to identify and solve complex problems.
• Own projects from discovery to launch, ensuring alignment with user needs and operational goals.
• Set standards for product development, AI usage, and operational practices at Primer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Experience building products for complex, physical workflows.
• Strong analytical skills to derive insights from data and practical judgment in real-world scenarios.
• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including problem discovery, strategy formulation, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Clear communication and structured thinking abilities.
• Excitement to work on-site in San Francisco.
