Product Manager
About the role
Peloton is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Hardware Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of our existing portfolios. This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role that requires a leader who can navigate technical complexity and drive alignment across the entire organization.
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term vision and roadmap for the Peloton portfolio, ensuring it aligns with our broader business goals and anticipates future user needs
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and post-launch analysis. You will work with a highly cross-functional team (Industrial Design, Hardware and Software Engineering, Operations, Content, and Marketing) and be responsible for difficult feature tradeoff decisions. You will use your deep understanding of end-to-end system architecture to inform these decisions, ensuring the product delivers a high-quality user experience
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and user studies to identify new opportunities and validate product decisions
- Define and track key performance metrics to measure product success and identify areas for future improvement
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience as a Product Manager in hardware. This can include fitness equipment or adjacent hardware within the consumer space. You should be knowledgeable about end-to-end system architecture at a deep level and feel comfortable discussing tradeoffs and requirements with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers
- A strong history of success leading highly cross-functional projects from concept to launch. You are skilled at communicating with and influencing diverse stakeholders, from design and marketing to engineering and operations
- Deep understanding of the hardware development process, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- A passion for fitness and an understanding of the connected fitness landscape is a plus
- Experience working with global teams is a plus
Qualifications
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Pay
The base salary range for this position is $215,050 USD - $264,150 USD.
