Product Manager
About the Role
Support the Business Director in executing business plans, marketing and pricing strategies, developing regional sales forecasting, and providing support on regulatory and commercial topics. Ensure deep product knowledge, customer intimacy, and understanding of target markets to drive market development for North America.
- Maintain, develop, monitor, conduct, and communicate market analysis and market intelligence/trends in collaboration with the sales force, global marketing, and other relevant parties.
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for transactional, prospect, and designated distributor accounts, handling quotations, order follow-up, product inquiries, and day-to-day account management.
- Evaluate new market opportunities in North America in close cooperation with the sales force to achieve short, mid, and long-term business objectives.
- Prepare short, medium, and long-term forecasts to ensure accurate business planning. Coordinate with relevant supply functions including global and regional supply chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another closely related field.
- 3-5 years of professional relevant experience.
- Excellent analytical thinking and reasoning skills.
- Strong business acumen and excellent understanding of how to develop a business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role with an on-site presence required in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office approximately 3 days per week each week.
