The Product Manager, Edwards Signaling is responsible for driving performance, growth, and lifecycle execution of assigned product lines within the signaling portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full product lifecycle for assigned Edwards Signaling product lines, from roadmap planning through end-of-life.
- Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with customer needs, market trends, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.
- Lead new product introductions (NPI), product changes, and legacy product rationalization initiatives.
- Act as the primary decision-maker for product scope, prioritization, and trade-offs within the assigned portfolio.
- Provide inputs to demand forecasting and participate in S&OP processes by translating market signals into actionable insights, identifying risks/opportunities, and supporting alignment across sales, operations, and supply chain.
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, channel segmentation, and pricing recommendations.
- Partner with sales teams and channel partners to drive product adoption, revenue growth, and market penetration.
- Lead competitive analysis and market assessments to identify differentiation opportunities and share gain.
- Support key customer engagements and strategic accounts as the product expert.
- Partner with engineering, sourcing, quality, and operations to ensure product quality, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.
- Support supplier negotiations and cost reduction initiatives in collaboration with sourcing and operations teams.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment, execution, and timely decision-making.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industrial and commercial signaling technologies, applications, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for internal teams and select customer interactions.
- Translate technical capabilities into clear, differentiated customer value propositions and application guidance.
- Own product performance accountability, including revenue, margin, cost, and overall profitability.
- Recommend pricing strategies aligned with market positioning and margin objectives.
- Develop business cases for new product investments, enhancements, and portfolio decisions.
- Lead product marketing and launch excellence, including product positioning, messaging, and value proposition development.
- Partner with marketing to create content, campaigns, and sales enablement tools.
- Own product launch planning and execution, ensuring readiness across sales, channels, and operations.
- Deliver clear, compelling presentations and product updates to customers, sales teams, and leadership.
- Communicate product strategy, performance, and market dynamics across the organization.
- Build credibility and influence through data-driven insights, strong execution, and customer advocacy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably within industrial, electrical, or B2B distribution environments.
- 3+ years of experience with forecasting, margin management, and financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of B2B go-to-market models, distribution channels, and pricing strategy.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex product specifications, applications, and regulatory considerations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment across diverse teams.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
- Up to 10% travel may be required.
