About The Role The Product Manager will own strategy, roadmap, and execution for developer-facing products that sit across APIs, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and customer workflows. The role translates complex technical capabilities into clear product requirements, measurable outcomes, and prioritized delivery plans. You will work closely with engineering, design, data, sales, and customer teams to move products from discovery through launch and iteration. The role matters because it connects platform reliability and developer experience to adoption, revenue, and long-term product differentiation. Key Responsibilities Define product strategy, quarterly roadmaps, and measurable success metrics for API, platform, or developer tooling productsTranslate customer problems and technical constraints into PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs in tools such as Jira, Linear, or equivalentPartner with engineering leads on system architecture, API contracts, scalability requirements, observability, security, and technical tradeoffsUse product analytics, SQL, customer research, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and make prioritization decisionsDrive cross-functional execution from discovery through beta, launch, and post-launch optimization, maintaining clear milestones, dependencies, and risksCoordinate go-to-market readiness across documentation, onboarding, pricing, enablement, and release communicationsEstablish operating rhythms for roadmap reviews, sprint planning, stakeholder updates, and outcome tracking across multiple teams What We Are Looking For 3–8 years of experience in product management, technical product management, software engineering, or a closely related role, including ownership of products used by technical or business customersExperience managing API products, SaaS platforms, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, data products, or other technically complex systemsStrong understanding of software development lifecycles, REST and event-driven APIs, distributed systems, databases, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or AzureHands-on ability to use SQL, product analytics tools, and customer research to evaluate usage, adoption, retention, and product performanceDemonstrated ability to write precise requirements, influence engineering and executive stakeholders, and make clear tradeoffs under ambiguityBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business, or a related field; equivalent technical experience also consideredBonus: Experience with developer experience, AI/ML products, platform monetization, experimentation frameworks, Kubernetes, or enterprise security and compliance
