About the role

As a Product Manager, you will drive transformation and innovation by developing and improving digital solutions that revolutionize customer experiences, streamline processes, and position our organization as an industry leader. You will champion the voice of the customer and foster a user-centric development approach to ensure products meet the evolving needs of our customers, agents, injured workers, and healthcare providers.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will oversee the product development process from concept to implementation, ensuring our products exceed expectations and make it intuitive and easy to manage insurance products.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and communicate the needs and preferences of target personas by gathering and analyzing customer feedback through surveys, focus groups, engagement and analytics data, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Set OKRs for a product and validate business cases prior to significant investment.
  • Develop a clear and compelling product vision and create a roadmap that supports this vision, prioritizing key features and milestones based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Manage cross-functional team members including engineering, product design, marketing, and operations to ensure the product is delivered on time with high quality.
  • Drive go-to-market strategy, successfully bringing products to launch, monitoring OKRs, and maintaining ongoing product upkeep.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities and make data-driven recommendations to meet intended customer needs.
  • Interpret data regularly to make informed decisions about the product, considering the big picture from various sources.
  • Stay current on customer trends and preferences to inform product strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team throughout the product development lifecycle, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Work in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including features, epics, user stories, and user acceptance test criteria.
  • Prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing pressing business needs.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in product management.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile and scrum processes and product development.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in documenting business processes and workflows.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps, epics, stories, and UAT.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and focus groups.
  • Experience developing business requirements.
  • Knowledge of design thinking and UX/UI visual design principles.
  • Strong business/customer engagement skills.
  • Experience developing instructional and procedural documentation and presentations.
  • High level of competence with MS Office, Atlassian suite, JIRA, and Lucid charts.
  • Experience in innovation and end-to-end launch of digital products and business process optimization.
  • Experience in insurtech and/or fintech preferred.
  • Certification as a scrum master and/or product owner preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in product management, business, design, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experience.

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote (work from home) opportunity open to candidates currently located in the United States and able to work without sponsorship. It requires a suitable space that provides a private and quiet workplace.

Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed. Occasional travel to off-site locations may be required to attend meetings.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000.
