Product Manager
About the role
Elevate is a full-service consulting firm that inspires high-performing organizations to find their limits and push past them. As a Product Manager, you will operate like a mini-founder inside a fast-growing product organization.
Responsibilities
- Own discovery with internal and external users so product work starts with real problems, not feature requests.
- Translate stakeholder needs into crisp product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
- Create and maintain roadmaps that show what matters now, what is next, what is intentionally deferred, and why.
- Partner with engineering and design to unblock delivery on the highest-value work.
- Drive a meaningful product release, roadmap reset, or stakeholder alignment process from discovery through delivery.
- Show measurable improvement in product clarity, engineering readiness, or stakeholder confidence.
- Help define the repeatable product operating model Elevate should use across product lines.
- Support demos, client conversations, rollout planning, training, and feedback loops.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management, product owner, business systems, or product strategy experience in software.
- Experience owning discovery, roadmap planning, requirements, prioritization, and release communication for software products.
- Strong client and stakeholder communication skills, including comfort with executives and non-technical business leaders.
- Ability to translate messy business requests into clear product problems, scope, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
- Strong product judgment around MVPs, trade-offs, business value, and technical constraints.
- Comfort working closely with engineers and designers in a remote, distributed product engineering environment.
- Experience using data, ROI, adoption metrics, cost savings, or revenue impact to prioritize product work.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams without turning every request into a fire drill.
- Clear written communication: roadmap updates, release notes, stakeholder summaries, and decision records.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in sports, entertainment, ticketing, sponsorship, analytics, e-commerce, or marketplace products.
- B2B SaaS or internal tools that grew into client-facing platforms.
- Data products, reporting products, AI/ML-enabled products, or workflow automation products.
- Experience working with sales, account management, client success, or consulting teams.
- Experience in a product-led transformation where the company is moving from services or consulting into software.
Skills
- Customer Obsession: Start with the customer and work backward.
- Ownership: Teams own outcomes, not just outputs.
- Simplicity: Choose architectural and product simplicity over complexity.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Measure what matters and use data to guide product development and business decisions.
- Rapid Learning: Implement quick feedback loops and focus on learning through experimentation.
- Transparency: Invite visibility and be transparent with where you're spending your time.
