About the role
We are seeking a Lead Forward-Deployed Product Manager to drive delivery on the ground. You will lead a dedicated, forward-deployed pod consisting of yourself and two engineers working alongside senior consulting partners. This is a technical product role with true delivery accountability—you will own stakeholder alignment, define metric definitions and data roll-ups, manage the technical backlog, and drive product adoption directly within executive operating reviews.
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep discovery with executive stakeholders and data owners to translate high-level business goals into precise source-system queries, data tables, and feeds.
- Write detailed technical requirements, manage and prioritize the backlog, and run agile sprints for a forward-deployed pod of two engineers.
- Own day-to-day client relationship management and executive stakeholder alignment in partnership with the consulting team.
- Drive product adoption by embedding platform outputs directly into the client's executive leadership and operating reviews.
- Serve as the feedback loop between client on-site requirements and the central product/engineering organization to inform the core platform roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or leading forward-deployed/solutions engineering teams
- Proven track record of shipping data products built on enterprise architectures (data warehouses, ERP, CRM, BI)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong focus on stakeholder management and requirements gathering for complex enterprise software deployments
Qualifications
- Background in management consulting or technical client-facing solution delivery
- Technical background with hands-on proficiency in SQL and data modeling to evaluate architecture and validate engineering output
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake
- Domain expertise in Healthcare/Medical Services (EHR, claims, scheduling, revenue cycle) or the Entertainment industry
- Experience shipping AI/LLM production systems to enterprise users
Schedule
- Full-time commitment (40 hours/week) for an initial 3 months contract with strong potential for long-term project renewal
- High-visibility strategic leadership role embedded within a top-tier management consulting firm's enterprise AI initiative
