What You’ll Own
- AI powered requirements definition and story-level clarity for an assigned domain or feature area
- Day-to-day delivery partnership with Engineering and BA/QA: backlog management, grooming, and launch readiness
- Stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination within your domain
- Post-launch data tracking, feedback synthesis, and iteration recommendations
Essential Job Functions
Discovery & Requirements
- Conduct customer and user interviews and review support data to inform prioritization.
- Translate business needs and user problems into well-written product requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate with UX/UI to align design direction and functional scope.
Delivery Partnership
- Partner daily with BA, Engineering and QA to groom backlogs, clarify requirements, and unblock delivery.
- Influence the evolution of how we build and deliver great products using AI enabled tools and practices.
- Maintain well-refined, prioritized sprint-ready backlogs at all times.
- Support UAT and launch readiness reviews; validate that shipped work meets defined acceptance criteria.
Measurement & Learning
- Track feature adoption and key usage metrics post-launch.
- Synthesize user feedback and support trends to surface iteration opportunities.
- Prepare concise readouts on launched features for product and leadership review.
Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain transparency on scope and delivery progress with relevant stakeholders.
- Escalate risks and trade-off decisions clearly and in a timely manner.
- Document product decisions and rationale to build institutional knowledge.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4–6 years of product management experience, including direct ownership of a product backlog and delivery process.
- Experience working in HCM, fintech, or another regulated, workflow-driven SaaS environment preferred.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate development lifecycle and delivering AI native capabilities into SaaS products.
- Strong requirements writing and stakeholder communication skills.
- Comfortable working directly with Engineering and BA/QA in an Agile delivery model.
- Analytical and organized; able to manage multiple workstreams without losing precision.
- Developing command of product metrics and outcome-oriented thinking.
