About the role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with deep knowledge of and/or keen interest in learning the labels and packaging industry to own the vision, development, and go-to-market success of our MIS/ERP software solutions. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams at CERM and partner organizations—including development, sales, customer service, and marketing—to define product strategy, guide feature development, and drive successful customer implementations.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for our suite of ERP/MIS products, aligned with customer needs, industry trends, and business goals.
- Conduct market analysis and customer interviews to identify user needs and pain points; translate findings into detailed, actionable requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering to prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Serve as the key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders; ensure smooth implementation of features, including API integration, data mapping, and compliance requirements.
- Oversee quality processes and testing activities to ensure robust, bug-free software releases.
- Create and maintain user-facing and internal documentation, including functional specifications, release notes, and user guides.
- Work with sales and marketing to develop product positioning, support training and onboarding for internal teams and partners.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customer feedback, feature requests, and beta programs.
- Represent CERM at customer events and industry forums; present new features and gather market validation.
- Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate feature adoption, customer satisfaction, and overall product success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a related role within the ERP software industry.
- Deep understanding of and/or keen interest in learning label, folding carton, and flexible packaging production processes.
- Familiarity with integration of ERP software with other tools and systems, or workflow integration tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- Experience working with ERP or MIS systems in packaging or manufacturing is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
