About the role
We are seeking a Contract Product Manager to serve as an execution engine and bandwidth multiplier for the BEX Whole Trip, lodging, and Families workstream. This role will drive cross-functional delivery to demonstrate clear near-term impact against Whole Trip, lodging, and family-tagged metrics. The role requires managing multi-team, cross-surface UX delivery, experimentation, and instrumentation across a Whole Trip portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Decompose portions of the overall BEX product backlog into detailed specs, UX states, and acceptance criteria across key surfaces (web app).
- Run cross-team execution, including traveler insights triage and incorporation into backlog, dependency tracking, and Jira hygiene across squads.
- Track risks/issues, set up experiments, and provide concise readouts.
- Conduct day-to-day work with engineering pods and XD on the ground resources.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in a product-related field.
- Proven track record in shipping multi-team UX changes across web apps.
- Strong skills in Jira hygiene, dependency management, risk tracking, and driving to dates without constant escalation.
- Experience in defining success metrics, experiment designs, and guardrails for UX changes.
- Comfortable framing work against trip-level metrics rather than local CVR only.
Skills
- Ability to turn research/UXR/analytics inputs into a prioritized backlog that aligns with BEX Whole Trip, lodging, and Families goals.
- Strong experience sensibility, with the ability to critique flows, simplify choices, and ensure clarity in copy.
- Comfortable translating high-level design direction into crisp requirements and edge-case coverage for engineering.
- Confident in partnering with Engineering, XD, and Analytics to align owners and unblock without creating noise.
- Capable of writing tight status updates and readouts that translate detail into exec-level insights.
- Bias for action within guardrails, operating effectively in a time-boxed quarterly window while making pragmatic trade-offs.
Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits.
- Health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment.
- 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave.
- 401(k) plan participation with employer match.
- Life and disability insurance.
- Commuter benefits.
- Dependent care flexible spending account.
- Accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance.
- Accommodations and reimbursement for work travel.
- Discretionary performance or recognition bonus.
- Sick leave and mobile phone reimbursement provided based on state or local law.
