About the role
The Product Manager for AIMS is a senior level position responsible for managing the day-to-day responsibilities for the NAM traditional investments business at Citi Wealth. Products in scope include: UCITS, 40 Act Funds, SMAs and ETFs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and own entire lifecycle of applicable products (UCITS, 40 ACT Funds, SMAs and ETFs) for the NAM region. Act as SME when working with external and internal clients and functional partners.
- Take ownership of product program including product approvals, product delivery and client experience, as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results.
- Manage contract negotiation and onboarding with Third Party managers, working across functions internally (legal, compliance, risk, operations, technology, etc.).
- Manage external partners and/or vendor relationships, engage in negotiations, manage ongoing relationships.
- Work closely with front office, sales, bankers, advisors, etc. to help provide assistance with daily queries and obstacles.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, specialized analytics, or related discipline
- Experience with investment products such as mutual funds, SMAs and ETFs.
- Knowledge of Pershing platform a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of industry and competitor products/services as well as industry practices and standards.
- Ability to develop strategy, gather resources, and inspire a diverse set of individuals.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Required current US FINRA Registration: Series 7.
- Must meet ALL US FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting in the role.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
