About the Role
The Alternative Investments team within Edward Jones’ Wealth Management Advice and Solutions (WMAS) division is expanding to meet growing client demand and increased firm focus on private market solutions. This highly visible team supports advisors serving high-net-worth clients by building and maintaining access to alternative investment offerings, including private equity, private credit, and private real estate. Joining this team offers the opportunity to work on complex, evolving products while helping shape the firm’s long-term alternatives platform.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and management of Alternative Investment products and solutions aligned with firm advice and guidance
- Aid in onboarding and ongoing management of Alts products and product partners
- Maintain assigned Alts product portfolios, including influencing recommendations to add, remove, or modify products or partners
- Shape and execute business plans aligned with firm strategy and senior-level priorities
- Ensure product literature and wholesaling materials are current, compliant, and aligned with firm messaging
- Resolve moderately complex product or partner issues as escalated
- Interface directly with asset managers and product partner contacts
- Serve as a subject matter resource for assigned Alts products, including features, pricing, and market positioning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required within 12 months of hire
- Prior experience with Alternative Investment products (e.g., private equity, private credit, private real estate) preferred
- Working knowledge of the brokerage or wealth management industry
- Experience managing or supporting investment products, platforms, or vendor relationships
- Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Progress toward or completion of advanced industry designations (e.g., CFA, CFP, CAIA) preferred
