About the role

As a Product Manager in Lam CSBG, your responsibility includes gathering and prioritizing requirements for the products, defining the vision for the product, and collaborating with other stakeholders from the engineering, marketing, business development, and operations organizations to ensure that the financial, business and customer goals and objectives are met. Specifically, you will be working on Dextro (semiconductor industry's first maintenance collaborative robot).

Responsibilities

  • Drive the vision and roadmap for one or multiple products aligned to overall business priorities and objectives.
  • Author the product Vision, setting cost objectives and program deliverables aligned with marketing requirements and product strategy.
  • Holds team members accountable to the aligned vision deliverables throughout the Product Development & Release process.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction with prioritized features and strong supporting justification.
  • Develop revenue growth and/or cost saving projections, go-to-market plans, and high-judgment trade-off between features.
  • Be the voice of the customer for the product development team throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and definition to sunsetting of the product.
  • Collaborate with customers, team members, and outside influencers to ensure a solid and well-rounded understanding of products and developing needs.
  • Prioritize programs to allocate resources aligned with overall organizational objectives.
  • Identify blockers that will impact timeline, scope, cost or other project variables and escalate to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate strategies & trade-offs up to senior leaders and down to the development team.
  • Define product and service capability for intellectual property, licensing, lifecycle management and obsolesce strategies.
  • Adhere to Product Management processes related to change control, documentation etc.
  • Review, disposition and prioritize Problem Reports in iPLM, BOM change orders, and Non-Standard Requests (NSRs) from customers; provide supporting rationale and alternatives to justify decisions.
  • Lead CFTs as necessary, coordinating operations and development groups.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering; or 8 years with a Master’s degree; or 5 years' experience with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
  • Product management, program management, or product marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience in semiconductor, robotics/automation industries strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering; or 8 years with a Master’s degree; or 5 years' experience with a PhD; or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include product management, program management, or product marketing experience, and experience in semiconductor, robotics/automation industries.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $125,000.00 - $270,000.00 for CA San Francisco Bay Area residents.

Pay

Salary range for this position: $125,000.00 - $270,000.00. The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely. Roles can be categorized as 'On-site Flex' (working 3+ days per week on-site) or 'Virtual Flex' (working 1-2 days per week on-site).
