About the role

At Franklin Electric, Product Management plays a critical role in supporting the development, execution, and lifecycle management of products that serve our customers and markets. As a Product Management Specialist, you will provide administrative, operational, and project support to the Product Management team while gaining exposure to a broad range of product-related activities across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Managers in executing product-related initiatives, projects, and day-to-day activities across the product portfolio.
  • Assist with organizing product information, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accuracy of product records within company systems.
  • Help coordinate activities related to product launches, product updates, and product lifecycle management.
  • Support the development and maintenance of product literature, brochures, specifications, presentations, and other customer-facing materials.
  • Assist in preparing internal and external product communications, training materials, and presentation content.
  • Gather and organize information from Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, and other stakeholders to support product initiatives.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing customer, market, and competitive information to help inform product decisions.
  • Support reporting activities by preparing project updates, summaries, and business insights for the Product Management team.
  • Support special pricing requests and annual pricing review activities, including data collection, competitive pricing research, margin analysis, and preparation of pricing recommendations.
  • Assist with Product Management initiatives involving artificial intelligence (AI) tools and emerging technologies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support product-related projects and business initiatives.
  • Coordinate project activities, meeting schedules, and follow-up actions to help ensure timely execution of initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in product management, marketing, business, engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Interest in and familiarity with AI-enabled tools and technologies is beneficial, with a willingness to learn and apply emerging AI capabilities to support product management processes and decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Curious, analytical mindset with a desire to learn about customers, products, and markets.
  • Ability to gather and interpret information to support decision-making.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Exposure to AI tools, data analytics platforms, or technology solutions that support business processes, market analysis, or product management activities.
  • Internship, co-op, campus leadership, or professional experience involving product management, marketing, sales support, engineering, project management, market research, or customer engagement.
  • Experience using data to support recommendations and business decisions.
  • Experience using business systems, databases, or CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or a related field preferred. Associate degree with relevant experience will also be considered. Recent graduates and candidates with internship, co-op, or project experience are encouraged to apply.
