About the role

The Performance Materials division is at the forefront of the much-needed sustainability transformation in plastics. Our experts co-create products with customers to bring innovations to major industry sectors such as transportation, consumer goods, industrial applications, and construction. These solutions contribute to a sustainable future by pushing the boundaries in thermal resistance, robustness, and lightweight applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate product-related change management processes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and effective communication across business functions.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve business tools and reporting resources used throughout the PMU organization, including costing models, product portfolio databases, active product listings, and customer/product intelligence resources.
  • Serve as a key resource in supporting portfolio-related projects and business initiatives, collaborating with Product Managers, Commercial Management, Supply Chain, Technical Service, Procurement, Operations, and Marketing teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, standardize practices, and implement improvements that enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support sustainability initiatives, mass balance certification programs, product stewardship requirements, and emerging regulatory or market-driven opportunities.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused role such as sales, marketing, product management, supply chain, or technical service.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, Power BI, SAP, and other business intelligence or data management tools.
